Casa Thomas Jefferson
Since 1963, the unofficial “cultural arm” of the United States Embassy in Brasília, Brazil’s Capital. Its main objective is to provide English classes – from the most basic level to the most advanced – and to promote cultural interchanges between Brazil and United States.
In 1994, they organized a competition among young architects to choose a project for its new headquarters on the North Wing of the Capital. Our project was selected by a jury of renowned architects, engineers and educators and the building became an architectural landmark in the city since its inauguration, in 1997.
